Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1996 at Stavanger) is the name of a Norwegian music producer and a vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 it received a raving review from music blogs as well as the media. Half the World Away - by Oasis - for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two notable covers that the artist has done. Katy Perry shared a tweet where Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering an old grand piano hidden in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see what it could do. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music for personal growth, rather than to earn money or for an interest. She began writing lyrics of her own. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her favourite composers. She decided to start performing her songs publicly when her mother suggested that they could help people not gain acclaim for her music, but rather to help people see around them realize their own importance and how they can affect the world. When she was six She began playing the piano and at nine was writing music. The family did not be aware of this until she reached the age of 14. Aurora wasn't a dream. She claims that she enjoys composing songs. She believes that music is the best method of feeling anything.
